Babies in Beanies Terms and Conditions

Competition Terms and Conditions: ­

1. The $30 entry fee and all sponsorship money will be donated to the Newborn Intensive Care Foundation.  2. You are able to bring your own beanie along – however we will have a range of beanies at Snowgum Studio that you may purchase.   3. As the legal guardian or parent of the entrant you are giving permission for these images to be available in a public forum online and for the images to be used for any post-competition publicity required and agrees for their baby’s image to be used by Snowgum Studio to publicise this competition, and any other promotional literature. 4. The closing date for the competition is Wednesday 29 June 2011 with the last day for voting on Friday 29 July 2011.  5. Each photographic session is 10 minutes.  A single booking of $30 entry represents one session.  You are entitled to enter multiple children but they must appear in the same photo if only one session is booked and paid for.  6. Your ‘baby’ must be between 0-5 years old (inclusive) when their photograph is taken.  7. All photos entered into the competition will be taken by Snowgum Studio at their Studio located at 8239 Monaro Hwy Williamsdale, on the following dates:  Wednesday 8th June, Sunday 12^th June, Wednesday 15^th June, Sunday 19^th June, Wednesday 22 June, Wednesday 29^th June between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm.   8. Sessions will be 10 minutes each and bookings are essential.   9. After completing your online registration you will need to call Snowgum Studio (ph: 02 62350005) to book in your session time.  10.  All contestants will be issued with a Sponsorship form – parents are encouraged to get sponsorship for their child to raise additional funds for the foundation.  11.  The baby who raises the most sponsorship will win a prize.  12. You will be required to be ready for your photo shoot at the time of the booking.  It is advisable to arrive at least 10-15 minutes before your booked time so that your child can become comfortable with their surroundings.  13. Entrants without a confirmed and paid booking will not be accepted on the day. 14. Copyright for all of the images remains the property of Snowgum Studio.  15. No cameras or recording devices are permitted during the portrait session.  16. You must be the baby’s parent, or legal guardian, or have the written permission of the parent, or legal guardian to enter the competition.  17. Photos will be posted online for voting by the public at www.snowgumstudio.com.au on the following dates  9am EST 1^st July 2011 –  5pm EST 17^th July, 2011.  18. Only one vote per person* will be accepted.  19. The 12 ‘babies’ with the highest number of online votes will make the final as well as 4 babies selected by the judges  (total of 16 babies).    20. The 16 finalists will be available for a public online vote to decide on the final 2.  This vote will be available online at www.snowgumstudio.com.au from 9am EST Thursday 21^st July – 5pm EST Friday 29^th July for 8 days only.   21. The final 16 will be printed in Canberra Weekly Magazine, Thursday 21^st July edition.   22. The final winner will be decided by a panel of judges, Peter Cursley (Newborn Intensive Care Foundation Chairman), Julie Samaras (Editor Canberra Weekly), Leonie Keogh (Snowgum Studio), Rachel Hollier (Snowgum Studio), final judge TBC. 23. The decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.  24. The winner will be announced on Sunday 14^th August at the Presentation Ceremony.   25. There is one first prize, 1 runners-up prize and a best sponsor prize to be won. 26. Your child’s behavior on the day will not be the responsibility of the photographer.  If another session needs to be booked, it will have to be re-booked and paid for on an available date online at Snowgum Studio. 27. The image selected for voting is at the discretion of the photographer and this will be the image that is printed for you for collection at Snowgum Studio. 28. The printed image will be available for collection from Snowgum Studio from 17/7/2011 to 12/8/2011.   29. Your baby’s sponsorship form must be returned with all monies owing when you collect your image.  Images not collected will be discarded post 31/8/2011.   30. Entry assumes acceptance of these terms & conditions  * A ‘person’ is defined in this circumstance as one internet connection
